Our mission
O u r h i s t o r y . . . European Vine Selections is an owner run collective with 10 members who each have a vast interest and thirst for wine. EVS was founded in 1972 when Napa Valley had barely begun its renaissance. The founders had to look to Europe to find sources of good quality wine. Since then wine making has blossomed in California, Oregon, Washington, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, and British Columbia. As the world of wine expanded, European Vine Selections followed looking for the best wine at the best price. We moved to our Capitol Hill location in 1984 where we have happily spent the last twenty years nestled in among the other small businesses at the north end of the 15 th avenue business district. While we are a neighborhood wine shop, EVS can offer you a world of value. |
