LoTengo in Spanish means I have it, now you can too. First off this Saturday we’ll be pouring their Torrontes. Torrontes is the white grape that is uniquely Argentinean. The LoTengo has aromas of jasmine and roses with a touch of white peaches. The wine is nicely balanced acidity with an elegant long finish.

Casablanca and Curicó Valleys, Chile
This Chilean Sauvignon has aromas and flavors of grapefruit and orange. It is dry and minerally with good concentration and acidity, reminiscent of a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc.

2007 LoTengo Malbec $10

This un-oaked Malbec is made by Bodegas Norton a long-standing top producer in Argentina. This LoTengo has hints of violets with sweet and spicy aromas. It is full of dark fruit with a touch of black pepper.

2006 Pascual Toso Reserve Malbec $19

Mendoza, Argentina
Pascual Toso started his winery in 1890. Today renowned California wine maker Paul Hobbs consults for this winery and assists in making the wine. The Reserve is hand harvested in small baskets and made from selected lots of grapes from special vineyards. This wine is aged for twelve months in new oak before bottling, then aged 6 months more before release. The wine has flavors of bacony toast and coffee layered with dark plum followed by spice and mocha. The sweet tannins show through nicely on the finish.

2005 Montes Alpha Syrah $21

Made by one of Chile’s top winemakers, Aurelio Montes, this wine has an excellent track record and only gets better every year. The Alpha Syrah comes from the "La Finca" Estate, in the Apalta Valley, Yield is very low, with only 6 tons per hectare. It is aged in French oak for one year. 7% Cabernet Sauvignon and 3% Viognier were added to the final blend. The wine delivers a bouquet of earth, leather, bacon fat and blueberry. It is a full-bodied Syrah with lots of depth and concentration.
